Rive Rocks Centenary Competition

Few Golf Clubs have two Centenary Competitions in their golfing calendar but Todmorden Golf Club is very proud to have achieved this remarkable goal. Todmorden Golf Club was formed back in 1894 and the links overlooking
Centre Vale Park at Todmorden Edge were opened in May 1895.
In 1907 Todmorden Golf Club moved from its former site to its present home at Cross Stones Rive Rocks. These new links bounded to one side by the infamous Calderdale Way and encompassing a Celtic burial ground were opened in 1907 but without anything of significance to mark the occasion. So, it was decided in 2007 to acknowledge the centenary anniversary of the move and the Rive Rocks Centenary Competition was born and played for annually.
